What do we do?

The Local Government group manages the audit requirements for the local government and environment sectors. The group also manages the audit requirements for a number of local government related sectors including council-controlled organisations, energy companies, licensing trusts, and port companies.

The group administers the Office's role as Secretariat of the South Pacific Association of Supreme Audit Institutions and the Australasian Council of Auditors-General/South Pacific Association of Supreme Audit Institutions Regional Working Group on Environmental Auditing.

Group structure

The Assistant Auditor-General of the Local Government group is Bruce Robertson.
