What do we do?
The Sector Managers within Parliamentary Group are responsible for:
- setting the organisation's audit plans for the coming years
- managing relationships with entity chief executives, Ministers, and Select Committees
- advising Select Committees during the Financial Reviews and examiniation of Estimates documents
- helping to undertake inquiries and draft the inquiry reports
- providing reports to Parliament
- sponsoring performance audits, and helping to maximise their effectiveness
- writing the audit briefs (which set out what auditors are to focus on during the annual audit of entities)
- analysing the accountability documents and the audit results for the entities within their sector.

The Assistant Auditor-General – Parliamentary Group is Wendy Venter. The Sector Managers are:
