Hayden Everett
Sector Manager

Hayden joined the Office of the Auditor-General in August 1997. He has sector responsibilities for the local government sector and a number of related entities. Hayden also has sector responsibilities for State-owned enterprises and Crown entities in the energy sector.
Hayden administers the Office's role as Secretariat of the South Pacific Association of Supreme Audit Institutions (SPASAI).
Before joining us, Hayden had three year's operational auditing experience with the Wellington office of Audit New Zealand.
Jonathan Keate
Sector Manager

Jonathan joined the Office of the Auditor-General in November 1995. He spends half of his time as a Sector Manager in the Local Government team with responsibility for city, district, and regional councils, miscellaneous local government Trusts, council-controlled organisations, the Parliamentary Commissioner for the Environment, the Ministry for the Environment, and the Environmental Risk Management Authority. He spends the other half of his time as a Senior Solicitor in the Legal team.
Before coming to the OAG, Jonathan worked for the Department of Internal Affairs as a Senior Policy Analyst.
Sarah Lineham
Sector Manager

Sarah joined the Office of the Auditor-General in 2007, having been at Audit New Zealand since 1996. She works with the Local Government team on challenges in the sector, including amendments and reporting against the first audited Long-Term Council Community Plans. Sarah also works with stakeholders to improve the preparation of Long-Term Council Community Plans and to improve the relevance of annual reports.
As a sector manager Sarah is responsible for Council-controlled organisations, airports, licensing trusts, and cemetery trusts.
