Assistant Auditor-General, Performance Audit

Mike joined the Office of the Auditor-General in December 2004. He leads our Performance Audit Group and manages the Group's work auditing the performance of all public entities, including central government departments, local authorities, schools, hospitals, and the defence force.

Before joining the Office of the Auditor-General Mike was an Audit Manager in the National Audit Office in the United Kingdom. He was a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy and worked on performance audits across several different sectors of the public service during the 17 years he was there.
