Andrew joined the Office of the Auditor-General in August 2000. He is Sector Manager responsible for the Justice and Law and Order sectors, and the agencies that provide services to the New Zealand Parliament and members of Parliament.

Before joining the OAG, Andrew had held policy advisory and management roles in the Ministry of Māori Development and the Ministry of Economic Development.

Colleen joined the Office of the Auditor-General in May 1997. She is currently responsible for the Health sector portfolio, and earlier managed the education and science and the primary production sectors. Colleen is co-leader in the team’s work on NGO funding arrangements, government department and Crown entity accountabilities, and entities at risk.

Before joining us, Colleen was a senior management consultant in United Nations peace-keeping, a consultant on education governance in Europe, and had extensive previous experience in the education sector, including director of the NZ School Trustees Association, and national manager of special education district services.

Dave joined the Office of the Auditor-General in May 2005 as the Sector Manager responsible for a number of science, commerce, and other public entities.

Dave's professional expertise includes a strong focus on public management, especially governance and Human Resources. His previous employment experience includes the State Services Commission, a major private sector consulting practice, and Statistics New Zealand.

Mary joined the Office of the Auditor-General in October 2006.

Before joining us, Mary was an Account Manager in the DHB Funding and Performance Directorate of the Ministry of Health, where she was responsible for a number of south island DHBs, dealing with accountability, funding and performance issues. She also has a background in regulatory health policy.

Pania joined the Office of the Auditor-General in November 2003. She is responsible for managing the Auditor-General's relationships with public entities and auditors in the education and Māori affairs portfolios - and the relevant Select Committees in Parliament. Her portfolio includes all universities, wānanga, institutes of technology and polytechnics and schools across New Zealand, and 16 Māori Trust Boards established under the Māori Trust Boards Act 1955.

Before joining us, Pania worked in a number of management roles at the Ministry of Maori Development - Te Puni Kōkiri.

Wendy joined the Office of the Auditor-General in November 1999. Wendy leads the Parliamentary Group, which is responsible for managing the Auditor-General's relationships with public entities and auditors in central government - and the relevant Select Committees in Parliament. Wendy leads the annual audit of the Financial Statements of the Government, as well as the Controller function. Wendy also has portfolio responsibilities for the Finance and Expenditure Select Committee.

Before joining the OAG, Wendy worked at Audit New Zealand.
